Exhibition at the ARB

As we move inexorably towards February I am realising that I have only six weeks of printmaking left and there still seems a lot to do before the ARB. At the moment I am immersed in Death in Venice, listening to the music, reading the libretto and trying not to be too influenced by the excellent Opera North production we saw recently at the Snape Maltings. Prodigal Son, Turn of the Screw and Owen Wingrave await, so not much socialising in the next few weeks! I do not know Owen Wingrave at all so that will be a bit of a challenge….more of that later.

Here are two early versions of a Peter Grimes print, eventually developed into One of those rumours in the gallery Hours of Healing. I like both of these however, but preferred the twitchy curtains element in the other.
